Ladder conveyor belts, also known as rod conveyor belts, are widely used in the bakery industry due to their flat surface, easy assembly, minimal maintenance, and thorough cleaning. Lightweight ladder belt is a cost-effective option for many different conveyors used in different industries. Driven forward by sprockets, trapezoidal belts will be used in straight or radial applications (90 degrees and 180 degrees). The trapezoidal belt is made of stainless steel T-304 and mild-strength carbon steel. T-304 is highly recommended for all applications, especially the food industry.
